An easy treat that can't be beat this holiday! It's simple, vegetarian, delicious, and a holiday party centerpiece worthy appetizer that'll be gone in minutes.

This holiday season, given all that has been going on in this world, my family and I wanted to keep it simple. Also, going to the grocery store with the holiday rush sounded stressful, and we wanted to make do with something simple! We were invited to a neighbors house and thought of this recipe (a twist on a classic pull apart) and making it vegetarian.
Ingredients:
Pillsbury Croissant Dough (2 tubes) -- after making this though, I think pizza dough would have more savory of a flavor. Let me know if you try it!
Spinach
Ricotta or Cream Cheese
Mozzarella Cheese
Garlic
Italian Seasoning
Salt & Pepper (maybe even red chilli flakes)
How to:
First open up your dough and use the pre made triangles to reform the sheet of dough into a large triangle shape (shape of the tree). Repeat with the second tube of dough. Placed on a greased baking sheet or parchment paper.
In a separate bowl, mix all other ingredients together to taste and fill with one layer of spinach and cheese mixture. Then add on the second triangle of dough.

Make horizontal slits 1.5 inches apart down the entire tree. This is making the pull apart branches. Make sure there is still a strong bark in the middle and don't cut all the way through. Take each branch in your hand and twist it carefully, not spilling the filling.

Once you make it to the bottom, brush the whole tree with garlic butter or garlic oil. Bake at 375 degrees F for 20 minutes or until golden brown!
